Mitch Meyer, PSP coach

Mitch

Pre-PA Coach

Mitch is an incoming PA student at Chamberlain University’s Chicago campus, beginning this fall after earning acceptance on his first application cycle. He holds a Bachelor’s in Athletic Training with a Minor in Exercise Science from Indiana University, and a Post‑Professional Master’s in Athletic Training from Ohio University. He assists the team with content creation and personal statement reviews.
He spent eight years working as an Athletic Trainer before deciding to pursue his long‑term goal of becoming a PA, after getting to work closely with PAs in his career. To make the transition, Mitch completed a DIY post‑baccalaureate retaking expired prerequisites, adding new coursework, and rebuilding his academic profile. He understands the challenges and stress of being a non‑traditional applicant, navigating career change, and proving there’s more to an applicant than GPA alone.

Mitch believes discipline and direction can turn any path into a successful one. He’s here to support applicants who feel unconventional, behind, or unsure where to start—and to show that with hard work, getting accepted is possible.
