James is a third-year physician assistant (PA) student set to graduate in May 2025 from the Rutgers University Physician Assistant Program. James’ story is certainly unique, and he knows a thing or two about perseverance. He got into PA school at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina in 2016, but unfortunately, he did not make it through and was forced to withdraw.
His desire and tenacity to be a PA would not be denied, so he got a master’s in physiology at NC State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, and ultimately was accepted into the Rutgers Physician Assistant Program starting in 2022.
James specializes in the nontraditional route to get into PA school, helping people reach their dreams despite having a low undergraduate GPA.
In his free time, James enjoys movies and music, and he’s a huge sports fan. Basketball, football, and boxing are his favorites. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family.
James constantly shares his story with others as a testament to his determination and passion. He truly believes that if you want something in life, you can have it if you are willing to put in the work. His resume is concrete proof of that. He is here to guide you to getting into PA school even if you think it is impossible with your academic mishaps. If he can do it, then you can do it too!
